His commitment has earned national recognition, including being a finalist for the Skills Champion of the Year at the Enginuity Skills Awards 2023 and the National Apprenticeship Awards 2024. A passionate advocate of strengthening links between industry and academia, Neil is an active voice in business forums, including the CBI’s North West Regional Council, and supported the establishment of the Lancashire and Cumbria Institute of Technology.
